Localization

Performance/Modding

  • Improved performance around many parts of Terraria. Most notably around trying to achieve frame rendering stability, and reducing small freezes.
  • Folder based Resource Packs are now hot-reloadable. Changing most content in the folder will make Terraria attempt to reload it instantly! This should dramatically help iterating on localizations/art changes quickly!
  • Introduced several new systems to replace previously hard-coded logic. (e.g. Wings, Armor sets, Fishing, Horizons, NPC Interaction commands, and more have been made easier to check and modify/replace).

  • Native support of Apple Silicon was implemented, which makes the game work better on newer Mac devices.

Balance

Global Mechanics
