Ebonstone Block、 Crimstone Block、Corrupt Grass、Crimson Grassの上に生成される。
刈り取ったとき、花が咲いていれば Deathweed Seedsをドロップする。
Corrupt GrassやCrimson Grassでは他にも色々生える上、茨を刈ったりするために武器や道具を良く振るうため地表ではあまり見かけないかも。
全攻撃力10％アップの Wrath Potionやクリティカル率10％アップの Rage Potionなど、戦闘面で「あと一歩」が欲しい時に役立つポーションの素材。
花が咲いていると、時折紫色に発光する。

• 花の咲く条件：Blood Moon中、もしくはFull Moon(満月)の夜である事
