HardmodeのUnderground CorruptionあるいはUnderground Crimsonのモンスターが(確率20%=1/5)ドロップする。 Expert modeだと40%?になる
環境がそうであればどんなモンスターからもドロップする(Meteor Headのみ例外)。
(高度はcavernが確実、underworldでもドロップを確認)

他のアイテムとは違い、ドロップした後は地面に落ちず空中に留まる。
