Dirt Block、Mud Block、Ash Blockに草が生えた状態。時間経過により隣接するブロックに広がっていく。
各種土壌ブロックに対応する草の種を植えることで任意にGrass化することができる。 上面には草が生え、その中に生物が隠れていることも。下面には蔦が生える。

通常のGrassは不浄、真紅、聖域により侵食され、それぞれCorrupt Grass、Crimson Grass、Hallowed Grassに変化する。
Hardmodeに突入すると、Jungle Grassが不浄と真紅にのみ浸食されるようになる。
木が生えているこれらのブロックが侵食されると、木も対応する環境のものに同時に置換される。
Mushroom grassとAsh Grassはすべての侵食を受け付けない。

つるはしで一度叩くと、元のブロックに戻る。

通常のGrassとHallowed GrassはLawn Mower.png Lawn Mowerで刈ることができ、敵の出現率を下げることができる。
